COL BKB: Arizona 94, California 85

TUCSON, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Marcus Williams made all eight of his shots Thursday night as seventh-ranked Oregon beat California, 94-85.

Overall, Williams had 21 points, three rebounds and two assists.

Ivan Radenovic had 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists; JaWann McClellan had 16 points and four assists; and Chase Budinger added 12 points, three rebounds, and three assists for the Wildcats (10-1, 1-0 Pac-10), who improved their home record to 7-0.

Ryan Anderson and Ayinde Ubaka scored 16 points apiece; Theo Robertson had 11 points and three assists; while Omar Wilkes had 10 points, four rebounds, and two assists for the Golden Bears (8-5, 0-1), who have dropped three of their last four games.

Arizona had a 51-33 halftime lead and withstood a stiff second half challenge in the Pac-10 opener for both schools.
