In addition to games, Anthony loses cover

NEW YORK, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- Due to his highly publicized brawl last week, Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony has lost a cover for Northwest Airlines magazine.

The New York Times reports the small forward, who was hit with a 15-game suspension for his role in the Dec. 16 brawl, has seen his featured issue of the in-flight magazine pulled by the airline.

The incident involving Anthony, his Nuggets teammates and the New York Knicks ended with the NBA star punching Knicks player Mardy Collins and promptly drawing the suspension.

A statement from the airline said the company "does not want to appear to condone in any way the behavior of some of the players during Saturday's game, including Mr. Anthony, by continuing to offer the current edition of WorldTraveler."

In addition, the airline has pulled the accompanying article about the 22-year-old Anthony from its Web site and replaced it with a more travel-oriented article about China.
