EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Slava Kozlov scored the game-winner in the shootout Tuesday to hand the Atlanta Thrashers a 4-3 triumph over the New Jersey Devils.
Kozlov was the first shooter and he snapped a wrist shot to beat Martin Brodeur on the stick side.

Marian Hossa scored two shorthanded goals and Jon Sim added a goal for the Thrashers, who halted a season-high five-game losing streak.
Kari Lehtonen had 31 saves for Atlanta.
Jamie Langenbrunner had a goal and an assist and Martin Brodeur had with 28 saves for the Devils, who have lost four of their last five games.
