
HOUSTON, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Rookie quarterback Vince Young scored on a 39-yard run in overtime Sunday afternoon as the Tennessee Titans beat the Houston Texans, 26-20.
Young, who is a native of Houston, was 19-for-29 passing for 218 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception. He added 86 yards on seven rushing attempts for the Titans, who have won their last four games.
It is their longest winning streak since a six-game streak in 2003.
Travis Henry scored twice on 20 carries for 88 yards, Drew Bennett caught six passes for 113 yards, and Chris Brown kicked two field goals for Tennessee.
Ron Dayne picked up 87 yards and scored two touchdowns on 21 carries for Houston. David Carr was 17-for-23 for 140 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions, and Rob Bironas kicked two field goals for the Texans (4-9), who have lost three of their last four games.
The score was tied at 20 at the end of regulation.
Houston had a 7-6 halftime edge.
