The Golden Bears used a 22-5 run, capped with Theo Robertson's 3-pointer, to tie the score at 65-65 late in the second half. But Sessions had back-to-back shots for a 4-point Wolf Pack lead with about 2 minutes left and, with California forced to foul, Nevada iced the game by hitting its free throws as time wound down.

Ayinde Ubaka paced the Golden Bears' attack with 16 points while DeVon Hardin chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds for California, which saw a five-game winning streak snapped.
