NFL: Kansas City 19, Denver 10

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Larry Johnson rushed for one touchdown and 157 yards Thursday night to lead Kansas City past the Denver Broncos, 19-10.

Trent Green, returning from a concussion suffered in Week 1, went 13-of-22 passing for 161 yards, no touchdowns and one interception; Tony Gonzalez made four catches for 35 yards; and Lawrence Tynes kicked four field goals as the Chiefs won for the second straight week.

Jake Plummer was 25-for-39 for 216 yards, one touchdown, and one interception; and Javon Walker caught six passes for 55 yards for Denver.

The Broncos trailed, 10-3, at the half, and went ahead, 13-10, midway through the third quarter on a one-yard touchdown pass from Plummer to Stephen Alexander.

Tynes kicked two field goals in the fourth quarter to seal the Broncos' fate.

His first field goal came in the first quarter after Plummer was intercepted by Ty Law on the third play of the game.
