HONG KONG, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Jose Manuel Lara shot 4-under-par 66 Saturday and has a two-shot lead after 54 holes of the Hong Kong Open golf tournament.

The 29-year-old Lara, who is seeking his first tournament title as a professional, made a positive start with his third straight birdie at the third hole, and played the round bogey-free, but his start did not sit well.

"I just made birdie on the third and then missed a couple of putts," he said. "The key today was that I didn't make any bogeys. At the moment, I am enjoying the top."

Juvic Pagunsan (66), a rookie from the Philippines, is in second place at 12-under 198.

France's Gregory Bourdy (69) is third at 10-under 200.

Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez (66), the 2005 champion, shares fourth place at 9-under 201 with Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee (67).
