NHL: Washington 4, Florida 1

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Dainius Zubrus had two goals and an assist Monday to lead the Washington Capitals to a 4-1 victory over the Florida Panthers.

Alexander Ovechkin added a goal and an assist and Matt Pettinger scored the other goal for the Capitals, who have won four of their last five games.

Olaf Kolzig stopped 44-of-45 shots for Washington, which has defeated Florida the last three games after losing eight consecutive games to the Panthers.

Nathan Horton scored the lone goal and Alexander Auld made 23 saves for the Panthers, who have lost their last four games.
