NBA: Utah 107, Boston 100

BOSTON, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Deron Williams had 26 points and 14 assists Friday night as the Utah Jazz beat Boston, 107-100.

Carlos Boozer had 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Mehmet Okur had 23 points and seven rebounds for the Jazz, who snapped a four-game losing streak against the Celtics.

They gave themselves some breathing room in the third quarter, breaking a 56-56 tie with a 15-0 with 6:48 remaining in the period.

Paul Pierce had 30 points and nine rebounds. Wally Szczerbiak added 14 points, six rebounds and four assists for the Celtics, who have won only once in their five games.

Boston point guard Sebastian Telfair left the game in the first quarter because of a shortness of breath. At New England Baptist Hospital, he was diagnosed with an illness called bronchospasm, treated and released.

Boston out-rebounded Utah, 43-40.
