NHL: Edmonton 4, Washington 0

EDMONTON, Alberta, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Dwayne Roloson stopped 19 shots Saturday night for his first shutout of the season as Edmonton beat the Washington Capitals, 4-0.

In a balanced attack, four players each scored a goal; and eight others all had one assist for the Oilers (7-4-0), who have 14 points and are third in the Northwest Division.

Goaltender Brent Johnson allowed three goals on 27 shots for the Capitals (3-3-4), who are tied for fourth place with Tampa Bay in the Southeast Division with 10 points.

On the power play, Edmonton went 2-for-6; and the Capitals were 0-for-3.
