Jaguars' QB 'questionable' for Sunday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Jacksonville quarterback Byron Leftwich has been listed as questionable for the Jaguars' game Sunday against Houston.

Leftwich missed practice Friday because of a sore ankle and was scheduled for an MRI examination, Jaguars Coach Jack Del Rio said. The injury apparently occurred during a team workout Thursday.

David Garrard practice with the first-team offense Friday and will start Sunday for Jacksonville if Leftwich is unable to play. He started five games last year when Leftwich was injured.

Leftwich has completed 60.6 percent of his passes for 1,034 yard and seven touchdowns this season while leading the Jaguars to a 3-2 record.
