NEW YORK, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Sunday afternoon's scheduled game between the Mets and Philadelphia at New York's Shea Stadium was postponed because of heavy rain.
The finale of the three-game series was rescheduled for Monday afternoon when both teams had a scheduled off day.

The Phillies won the series opener Friday, 4-3.
The Mets bounced back Saturday with an 11-5 victory, despite a grand slam home run by Philadelphia's Ryan Howard.
Monday's scheduled starters are Jamie Moyer for Philadelphia and John Maine for the Mets.
