Three in lead at rain-delayed LPGA event

SYLVANIA, Ohio, July 15 (UPI) -- Three golfers shared the lead Saturday as the third round of the LPGA Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic was suspended by darkness in Sylvania, Ohio.

Natalie Gulbis and Reilley Rankin, both looking for their first LPGA Tour win, were tied for the lead with Mi Hyun Kim at 12-under par. The round was delayed by rain.

Gulbis and Kim were playing the 18th hole when action was halted by darkness Saturday night. Rankin is one hole behind Gulbis and Kim.

Reigning LPGA Tour Rookie of the Year Paula Creamer and LPGA Championship winner Se Ri Pak share fourth place at 11-under.

Creamer was in the first group out with Gulbis and Kim, while Pak is three groups back and has completed 15 holes of her third round. Young Jo has finished 14 holes and stands alone in sixth at minus-10.

Severe weather ended play on Friday with 71 players remaining on the course. The second round was completed early Saturday afternoon.
