CLEVELAND, June 24 (UPI) -- Paul Byrd hurled eight scoreless innings Saturday afternoon as Cleveland beat the Cincinnati Reds, 4-0.

Todd Hollandsworth hit a two-run homer, Grady Sizemore hit a solo shot, and both Jhonny Peralta and Travis Hafner had two hits for the Indians (33-40), who had lost their previous two games.

Bob Wickman finished the shutout, holding the Reds hitless in an inning of relief.

Ken Griffey Jr. had two of the five hits for the Reds (40-35), who have lost three of their last five games.

In six innings, losing pitcher Bronson Arroyo (9-4) gave up three runs and five hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

The struggling Indians have lost six series in a row since June 2.
