MLB: LA Dodgers 7, Colorado 1

LOS ANGELES, May 25 (UPI) -- Aaron Sele pitched seven shutout innings in helping the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 7-1 victory and 3-game series sweep of the Colorado Rockies.

Sele (3-0) allowed three hits and one walk while striking out five Wednesday as the Dodgers stretched their winning streak to seven games. Colorado was outscored 21-3 in the series.

Los Angeles posted four consecutive two-out singles in the third inning off Colorado starter Aaron Cook (5-4) with J.D. Drew and Jeff Kent each driving in runs for a 2-0 Dodgers' lead. Two innings later Kent drove in Rafael Furcal with a single that made the score 3-0.

The Dodgers put the game away with a 4-run rally after two were out in the seventh. Jose Cruz Jr. hit a bases-loaded single to get one run home and Russell Martin followed with a 3-run double to make the score 7-0.

Colorado's lone run came on a bloop single by Corey Sullivan in the eighth.
