CHICAGO, May 4 (UPI) -- Juan Uribe had a run-scoring bloop single in the 11th inning that gave the Chicago White Sox a 6-5 victory over the Seattle Mariners.

Chicago's Pablo Ozuna had a ninth-inning home run to force extra innings and Joe Crede hit a grand slam Wednesday to allow the White Sox to win for the fifth time in six games.

Bobby Jenks (1-0) collected the victory with 1 1/3 innings of 1-hit pitching while Jake Woods gave up two hits, including the Uribe game-winner, to fall to 1-1.

Woods got the first two outs of the 11th but Ozuna ended up on a second after he grounded a hit up the middle. Uribe then hit the soft fly to center to get the run home.

Seattle took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning with Jose Lopez, who was hit by a pitch, scoring on a Carl Everett sacrifice fly. The White Sox got a grand slam from Crede in the seventh.

But the Mariners came back with a 4-run inning of their own in the eighth with Lopez getting a 2-run single on a 0-2 pitch for the big hit of the rally.
