Shaq and wife welcome new daughter

MIAMI, May 1 (UPI) -- Miami Heat star Shaquille O'Neal and his wife, Shaunie Nelson, welcomed their fourth child, a daughter, in Miami early Monday.

Me'arah Sanaa O'Neal was born shortly before 5 a.m. weighing in at 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 1/2 inches long, People magazine reported.

"Shaq is thrilled," a source told the magazine.

The couple married in 2002 in Beverly Hills and have three children together -- Shareef, 6; Shaqir, 3 and daughter Amirah, 4.

O'Neal has a daughter Taahirah, 9, and Nelson has a son Myles, 8, from previous relationships.
