MLB: Philadelphia 4, Florida 2

PHILADELPHIA, April 23 (UPI) -- Led by two Ryan Howard home runs, the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Florida Marlins, 4-2, Sunday.

Howard drove in three runs and David Bell hit a run-scoring single for the Phillies (7-10), who won both weekend games against the Marlins. Saturday's contest was postponed because of rain and will be made up on July 30.

Winner Brett Myers (2-0) gave up two runs and six hits in six-plus innings with three walks and five strikeouts. Phillies second baseman Chase Utley and manager Charlie Manuel were thrown out of the game in the first inning for arguing a call made by first base umpire Dan Iassogna.

Miguel Olivo went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and five other players had one hit each for the Marlins (5-11), who have dropped two of their last three games.

Florida starter Sergio Mitre (1-2) took the loss.
