NBA: Philadelphia 105, Washington 97

PHILADELPHIA, April 10 (UPI) -- Allen Iverson had 26 points and 15 assists Monday as the Philadelphia 76ers posted a 105-97 victory over the Washington Wizards.

Steven Hunter, filling in for injured Chris Webber, had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Sixers, who moved a half-game ahead of idle Chicago for eighth place in the Eastern Conference playoff race.

Kyle Korver came off the bench to score 20 points and Andre Iguodala added 19 points, six rebounds and six assists in the win.

Antawn Jamison led the Wizards with 37 points and eight rebounds, as Washington dropped its third straight game. Gilbert Arenas added 32 points and six assists. The Wizards failed to clinch a playoff berth and remain in fifth place in the East.
