NHL: Toronto 5, Philadelphia 2

PHILADELPHIA, April 9 (UPI) -- Jeff O'Neill scored two goals Saturday night as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat Philadelphia, 5-2.

Alexander Steen, Mats Sundin and Chad Kilger added goals; Darcy Tucker and Tomas Kaberle each had two assists; and Jean-Sebastien Aubin made 28 saves for the Maple Leafs (37-32-8), who remain in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings with just five games left to play.

Rookies Jeff Carter and R.J. Umberger had the goals; Umberger also had an assist; while goaltender Antero Niittymaki allowed four goals on 28 shots for the Flyers (42-24-11).

Philadelphia is five points behind the New York Rangers for first place in the Atlantic Division. The Rangers beat Boston, 4-3, in overtime on Saturday.
