NHL: Nashville 4, St. Louis 2

NASHVILLE, March 20 (UPI) -- Scott Nichol scored two goals Monday while leading the Nashville Predators to a 4-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues.

Paul Kariya added a goal and an assist and Chris Mason made 28 saves for the Predators, who have won four straight games. Kimmo Timonen added his 10th goal of the year for Nashville.

Scott Young and Jay McClement scored St. Louis' goals and Patrick Lalime stopped 37 shots for the Blues, who have lost three straight and four of their last five games.

Nashville scored the first four goals of the game to establish a commanding lead.
