NHL: Detroit 3, Anaheim 1

DETROIT, March 16 (UPI) -- Detroit's Henrik Zetterberg scored his 34th goal of the season to help the Red Wings down the visiting Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, 3-1, Wednesday night.

Mathieu Schneider also scored and Nicklas Lidstrom assisted on all three goals for Detroit, which has won six of its last seven games. Kris Draper added an empty-net goal and goaltender Chris Osgood made 25 saves for the Red Wings.

Anaheim's Teemu Selanne scored the Ducks' lone goal, and netminder Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 26 shots.
