David Toms leads the Honda Classic

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., March 10 (UPI) -- After his second straight 5-under 67 on Friday, David Toms has a one-stroke lead after two rounds of the Honda Golf Classic at Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

The first round was completed Friday morning after three players were unable to complete their opening rounds on Thursday when play was halted by darkness.

Toms, who was one of four players sharing the lead after Thursday's first 18 holes, stands at 10-under-par 134. Billy Mayfair (67) is alone in second place at 9-under 135.

Defending champion Padraig Harrington (67) shares third place with first-round co-leaders Geoff Ogilvy (71), Mathias Gronberg (71), and Daniel Chopra (65).

Billy Andrade was disqualified and six players withdrew.

The cut was 2-over 147. Among those missing it were Brad Faxon (149), Steve Lowery (151), Jeff Maggert (152), Jeff Sluman (152) and Justin Leonard (152).
