NBA: Denver 97, Portland 94

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Denver's Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help the Nuggets edge the Portland Trail Blazers, 97-94, Wednesday night.

Andre Miller and Kenyon Martin each logged 21 points for the Nuggets, who extended their season-best winning streak to seven games. Miller also dished out seven assists and Martin had seven rebounds in the victory.

For Portland, Zach Randolph scored 18 points and had nine rebounds, Juan Dixon added 17 points and seven assists while Ruben Patterson had 15 in the loss. Theo Ratliff recorded his first double-double of the season with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
