NHL: Vancouver 4, Pittsburgh 2

PITTSBURGH, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Brendan Morrison had a goal and an assist Monday to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Steve McCarthy, Todd Bertuzzi and Henrik Sedin also scoredfor Vancouver, which has won five of its last six games. Alexander Auld turned away 23 shots in the win.

Mark Recchi and rookie Sidney Crosby both scored for the Penguins, who have lost seven in a row. Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury came up with 21 saves.

Crosby gave Pittsburgh to a 1-0 lead 7:30 into the contest, but Vancouver scored three unanswered goals.
