NBA: San Antonio 80, Memphis 89

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan's layup with 7.2 seconds remaining Saturday handed the San Antonio Spurs a 80-79 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Duncan had 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Manu Ginobili added 20 points and seven assists for San Antonio.

Pau Gasol scored 26 points and Bobby Jackson 19 for Memphis, which had its two-game winning streak snapped.

Eddie Jones had 16 points and a season-high 10 assists for the Grizzlies.
