NBA: Memphis 91, Phoenix 87

MEMPHIS, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Eddie Jones slammed home the go-ahead basket on a breakaway with 1:31 left, as the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Phoenix Suns, 91-87, at FedExForum.

Mike Miller had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who snapped a three-game skid and beat the Suns for the fourth time in the last five meetings. Pau Gasol added 14 points and seven rebounds for Memphis, which won despite being outrebounded, 60-45.

Eddie House had 21 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Suns, who have dropped four of their last five contests. Shawn Marion scored 16 points and had 17 rebounds, while Boris Diaw had 11 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

Miller blocked a layup attempt by Marion, and Jones slammed at the other end for an 86-84 Memphis lead.
