GLENDALE, Ariz., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Sean Burke made 26 saves and Fredrik Modin notched his 15th goal of the season to lead Tampa Bay over Phoenix, 3-1, Thursday night.

Vincent Lecavalier and Ruslan Fedotenko also tallied goals for the Lightning, who have won six of their last seven contests.

Geoff Sanderson scored Phoenix's lone goal and Curtis Joseph stopped 25 shots for the Coyotes, who have lost two straight after a three-game winning streak.

Tampa Bay held a 3-0 lead when Phoenix got its lone goal in the third period.
