NBA: L.A. Lakers 93, Chicago 80

CHICAGO, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant rang up 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists Friday night as the Los Angeles Lakers beat Chicago, 93-80.

Lamar Odom added 19 points and seven rebounds, Brian Cook scored 16, and Smush Parker posted 13 points, four boards, and three assists for the Lakers (10-9), who have won four in a row.

Kirk Hinrich registered 26 points and seven assists, Mike Sweetney had 22 points and 12 boards, and Luol Deng had 14 points and six rebounds for the Bulls (9-9), who have lost three of their last four games.

Chicago retired Scottie Pippen's No. 33 jersey at halftime. Pippen, who spent 12 of his 17 NBA seasons, and helped lead the Bulls to six NBA titles (1991-93, 1996-98). The future Hall of Fame forward was a seven-time all-star, a member of the NBA All-Defensive Team from 1991-2000, and was chosen one of the NBA's 50 greatest players.
