NHL: Vancouver 5, Colorado 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Markus Naslund scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Vancouver Canucks past the visiting Colorado Avalanche, 5-2, at GM Place.

Todd Bertuzzi notched his 400th point as a Canuck with an assist, and Richard Park recorded his 100th career point with an assist as well. Sami Salo added two assists, and Alexander Auld saved 30 shots in net for Vancouver. Brendan Morrison scored the tie-breaking goal late in the second period.

Vancouver goaltender Dan Cloutier remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Joe Sakic had a goal and an assist for the Avalanche, who had a three-game winning streak halted. Alex Tanguay also scored in the loss, while David Aebischer stopped 39 of 44 shots.
