NBA: Golden State 100, New Jersey 97

OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Baron Davis had 17 points and eight assists to help the Golden State Warriors edge the visiting New Jersey Nets, 100-97.

Jason Richardson scored 25 points and Derek Fisher added 22 for the Warriors, who have won two of their last three contests. Troy Murphy finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Adonal Foyle chipped in 13 boards in the winning effort.

For the Nets, Richard Jefferson had 23 points and Nenad Krstic totaled 21. Jason Kidd had 15 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

The Nets were left without Vince Carter, as he departed the contest in the third quarter with a strained muscle in his back. He ended with nine points on 4-of-6 shooting.
