ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Nov. 13 (UPI) -- J.P. Losman threw two touchdown passes Sunday to help the Buffalo Bills beat Kansas City, 14-3.
Losman, who was Buffalo's starting quarterback when the season began, was playing in place of Kelly Holcomb, who left the game with a head injury suffered in the second quarter while he was being sacked by the Chiefs' Jared Allen.
Losman was 9-of-16 passing for 137 yards. Lee Evans had three receptions for 66 yards, and Willis McGahee rushed for 66 yards on 20 carries for the Bills (4-5), who halted a two-game slide.
On a tough day, Trent Green was 23-of-40 for 220 yards, three interceptions and a fumble for the Chiefs. Larry Johnson gained 132 yards on 27 carries, and Tony Gonzalez made eight catches for 81 yards for Kansas City (5-4), which had a last-play victory over Oakland last Sunday.
