NFL: San Diego 31, N.Y.Jets 26

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- LaDainian Tomlinson scored four touchdowns Sunday to help San Diego beat the New York Jets, 31-26.

Tomlinson accounted for 153 total yards. He gained 107 yards and three scores on 25 carries, and added three catches for 46 yards and one touchdown. Tight end Antonio Gates made eight receptions for 132 yards, and quarterback Drew Brees was 20-of-27 passing for 270 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The Jets used two quarterbacks. Vinny Testaverde was 6-of-11 for 98 yards while Brooks Bollinger went 11-of-20 for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Curtis Martin, who scored his 100th career touchdown, had 72 yards rushing on 21 attempts while Laveranues Coles made six receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown for the Jets (2-6), who have lost three straight.

Martin is the 10th running back in history to have at least 100 touchdowns.
