NFL: Kansas City 30, Miami 20

MIAMI, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson combined for 183 yards rushing and three touchdowns Friday night as the Kansas City Chiefs beat Miami, 30-20.

Holmes had 90 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries, Johnson had 23 carries for 93 yards and one score, and quarterback Trent Green was 20-of-34 passing for 289 yards with no scoring passes or interceptions. The Chiefs (4-2), who got three field goals from Lawrence Tynes, have won two in a row.

Gus Frerotte was just 11-of-29 passes for 125 yards, one interception and no touchdowns, and Olindo Mare booted two field goals for the Dolphins (2-4), who lost for the third straight time.

Rookie Ronny Brown had 95 yards on eight carries and one touchdown. The score came on a 65-yard run in the third period.
