NHL: St. Louis 4, Chicago 1

ST. LOUIS, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Patrick Lalime made 32 saves and Jay McClement had a goal and an assist Tuesday to lead the St. Louis Blues to a 4-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Dean McAmmond and Scott Young each scored a goal for the Blues, who earned their first win of the season. Mike Sillinger added two assists in the win.

Blackhawks goalie Nikolai Khabibulin allowed four goals on 23 shots. Tyler Arnason scored the only goal for Chicago.

McClement got his goal via a penalty shot.
