COL FB: USC 42, Arizona 21

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- LenDale White ran for 179 yards and four touchdowns Saturday to help top-ranked Southern California over Arizona, 42-21.

Matt Leinart was 26-of-40 passing for 360 yards and two touchdowns, wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett had nine receptions for 116 yards and two scores and Reggie Bush added 110 rushing yards for USC (5-0, 3-0 PAC 10), which now has won a conference record 27 in a row. The Trojans have won a school-record 23 straight home games.

Quarterback Richard Kovalcheck went 16-of-25 for 181 yards and three touchdowns and Mike Thomas, Brad Wood and Gilbert Harris each had scoring receptions for Arizona (1-4, 0-2 Pac-10). The Wildcats are the last team to beat a No. 1 ranked USC team. It happened in 1981.
