LOS ANGELES, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Luis Gonzalez scored twice and drove in a run Thursday night as Arizona completed a three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-2.
Dustin Nippert (1-0) earned his first major league victory with a five-inning, one-hit performance for the Diamondbacks, the first team to beat the Dodgers in Los Angeles eight times in one season.

Dioner Navarro pulled the Dodgers to within one run with a ninth-inning homer, but Brandon Lyon held on for his 14th save. Hong-Chih Kuo (0-1) took the loss.
Los Angeles finished its 2005 home slate with a 40-41 mark.
