Huston assumes lead at Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C., Sept. 30 (UPI) -- John Huston shot his second straight 6-under 66 Friday to take a one stroke lead through 36 holes at the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro, N.C.

He stands at 12-under-par 132.

After a 3-under 69, K.J. Choi is alone in second place at 11-under 133. Justin Rose, who shot 7-under 65 on Friday, joined D.J. Trahan (69) in third place at 10-under 134.

Tim Clark (69), Shigeki Maruyama (65), John Rollins (68) and Brian Gay (66) all are tied for fifth place at 9-under 135.

First-round leader Charles Warren, who struggled to 2-over 74 on Friday, fell into a tie for ninth with Carl Pettersson (67), Daniel Chopra (69), Tim Herron (66) and Jason Bohn (65) at 8-under 136.

The 36-hole cut fell at 3-under-par 141. 2004 champion Brent Geiberger (69) missed it by one stroke.
