NFL: Minnesota 33, New Orleans 16

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Daunte Culpepper completed 21-of-29 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns Sunday as Minnesota beat the New Orleans Saints, 33-16.

The Vikings, with their first win of the season, improved to 1-2 after losses to Tampa Bay and Cincinnati. Travis Taylor caught two touchdown passes and Mewelde Moore added 101 yards rushing.

Aaron Brooks was just 12-of-32 for 199 yards with one scoring pass and two interceptions, and Deuce McAllister added a rushing touchdown for the Saints (1-2), who have dropped two in a row after a season-opening victory at Carolina.
