
PITTSBURGH, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Willie Williams intercepted and scored on Donovan McNabb's pass on the first play Monday to help Pittsburgh to a 38-31 pre-season win over Philadelphia.
Ike Taylor returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown and Ricardo Colclough scored on a 66-yard punt return for the Steelers.
Ben Roethlisberger played one offensive series for the Steelers, who were coming off of their best regular season (15-1) in franchise history, only to lose to New England in the AFC Championship Game.
McNabb, who nearly led the Eagles to a win over the Patriots in the last Super Bowl, completed 14-of-19 passes for 132 yards and a TD.
Two of the NFL's top receivers. Philadelphia's Terrell Owens and Pittsburgh's Hines Ward were not in uniform due to contract disagreements.
