CLEVELAND, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta hit two home runs Tuesday to lead the Cleveland Indians to an 8-2 victory over the Texas Rangers.
Peralta and Ronnie Belliard both had three RBI for the Indians, who have won seven of their last 10 games.

The Indians had a four-run seventh inning and two more runs in the eighth Cleveland after a 2-2 tie.
C.C. Sabathia (9-9) earned the victory after allowing two runs on eight hits in seven innings. Kenny Rogers (11-6) took the loss for the Rangers, who have lost eight in a row.
Rod Barajas homered for Texas.
