MLB: Seattle 3, Cleveland 2

SEATTLE, July 30 (UPI) -- Ichiro Suzuki hit two home runs Saturday as Seattle eased past the Cleveland Indians, 3-2.

Mike Morse also homered for the Mariners, who won for just the fourth time in 12 games overall.

Winning pitcher Ryan Franklin (6-11) yielded two runs and nine hits over 6 2/3 innings. He walked two and struck out seven.

Eddie Guardado earned his 24th save with a scoreless ninth inning.

Loser C.C. Sabathia fell to 6-9. He gave up just four hits and three runs in seven innings with one walk and four strikeouts.

Ronnie Belliard drove in both Cleveland runs. The Indians lost for the third time in eight games overall.
