MLB: Philadelphia 5, Milwaukee 2

PHILADELPHIA, June 10 (UPI) -- David Bell hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning Friday night, giving Philadelphia a 5-2 victory over Milwaukee.

The Phillies have won 13 out of 15 and are 10-1 on their 13-game homestand. The 10 wins are the most in any Philadelphia homestand in 28 years.

Jim Thome chipped in a two-run homer and Bell's blast made a winner out of Ryan Madson (3-2), who worked one inning.

Matt Wise (0-2) pitched a perfect eighth for Milwaukee, but took he loss by giving up three runs and a hit in 1 1/3.
