MLB: Philadelphia 5, San Francisco 2

PHILADELPHIA, May 31 (UPI) -- Randy Wolf threw shutout ball for 6 2/3 innings Tuesday night as Philadelphia downed San Francisco, 5-2.

Wolf is unbeaten in five starts, going 4-0 in that span while improving to 5-4. He gave up six hits and struck out five Tuesday night.

Chase Utley staked Philadelphia to a 3-0 lead with a two-run single in the third.

Brett Tomko (4-7) gave up three runs on five hits. San Francisco has lost five straight.
