MLB: Cleveland 4, Minnesota 3

MINNEAPOLIS, May 31 (UPI) -- Victor Martinez broke a tie game with a two-run homer in the sixth Tuesday night and Cleveland went on to defeat Minnesota, 4-3.

The Indians opened a 12-game road trip by winning their fourth straight game.

C.C. Sabathia (4-3) gave up three runs on seven hits in 7 2/3 innings to pick up the victory. Bob Wickman earned his 14th save.

In a 2-2 game, Travis Hafner reached on a single off Carlos Silva (3-3). Martinez then hit a two-out homer to put the Indians in front.
