PHOENIX, May 6 (UPI) -- Troy Glaus crushed a three-run homer Friday night and added another RBI, helping boost Arizona to an 8-4 victory over Pittsburgh.
Glaus delivered a run by drawing a bases-loaded walk in the first inning and then hit a mammoth homer in the third to give Arizona a 4-2 lead.

Javier Vazquez (4-2) gave up two runs on seven hits in seven innings to get the victory. Vazquez had won four in a row.
The Pirates had won their three previous games.
