NEW YORK, April 27 (UPI) -- The Atlanta Braves got home runs from Andruw Jones, Eddie Perez and Wilson Betemit Wednesday and beat the New York Mets 8-4.
Jones scored three runs for the Braves, who have won six of seven.

Mike Hampton (3-0) was the winner, giving up three runs and seven hits in five innings.
Doug Mietkiewicz and Cliff Floyd hit homers for the Mets. Tom Glavine (1-3) was the losing pitcher, yielding seven runs and 12 hits in 4 1/3 innings.
