MLB: Cincinnati 2, Florida 1

MIAMI, April 24 (UPI) -- Brandon Claussen yielded three hits in 5 1/3 scoreless innings Sunday and the Cincinnati Reds topped Florida 2-1.

Claussen (1-1) walked three and struck out three. Sean Casey went 3-for-4 and had an RBI for the Reds, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Loser Brian Moehler (1-1) surrendered two runs and seven hits in seven innings.

Miguel Cabrera had an RBI single and Paul Lo Duca had two hits for the Marlins, who lost for only the second time in their last eight games.
