NBA: Denver 121, Seattle 105

DENVER, April 9 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony led six players in double figures with 24 points Saturday night as Denver won its seventh straight game, 121-105 over Seattle.

The SuperSonics had a chance to clinch the division title, but Denver stayed alive in that battle.

The game was a possible first-round playoff preview and if the teams meet in the playoffs, the Sonics could be in trouble.

Denver is the hottest team in the NBA while Seattle has lost four in a row.

Ray Allen led Seattle with 32 points, but Denver got off the hot start by grabbing a 16-point lead after one period.
