MEMPHIS, March 29 (UPI) -- Jerome James and Ray Allen each scored 22 points Tuesday night while leading the Seattle SuperSonics to a 102-99 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
The SuperSonics have won five of their last six games and are in third in the Western Conference playoff race.

Pau Gasol scored 24 points for Memphis, which has dropped three straight. The Grizzlies are seventh in the West by just 1/2 a game over the Denver Nuggets.
Memphis used a 7-0 run to take a 90-83 lead with 7:35 remaining. But the SuperSonics retaliated with a 10-2 run for a 93-92 lead with just under three minutes to go.
